Studio REcording & Engineering
FOLamour
While at Wisseloord studios, French artist Folamour wanted to enhance his music with real live recordings.
Having found a good gel sonically, we worked on capturing vocals, a horn quartet, a string ensemble, layers percussion, and many other instruments for his first album.
These recordings are featured throughout his debut album “Manifesto,” recorded in Wisseloord Studios, Hilversum.

FOCUS
Working for Focus and Udo Pannekeet (Bassist and Producer), I had the opportunity to engineer two intensive week-long sessions with Focus at Wisseloord Studios to record their 12th Studio Album.
Utilising a wide range of vintage microphones, outboard gear, and various instruments, it was truly an honour to experience the unique atmosphere of hearing a legendary band like Focus perform live right in front of you straight from the desk.

Spinoza
Spinoza are a group which create musically guided meditation sound scapes for spiritual journeys and retreats. Whilst working with them I engineered several guided meditation podcasts, as well as a live streamed soundscape performances with a huge variety of acts and performers from around the world. These live streams reached hundreds of their subscribers and followers during our live sessions and stand as a huge event that the company holds biannually.
conservatory of Music Harlem
Recording in a professional, real-world studio environment is an essential and valuable skill for musicians to develop.
Every year, the Conservatory of Harlem organizes a dedicated studio week during which students come together to form bands, select their music pieces, rehearse extensively, and ultimately perform live within the studio setting.
During these sessions, all band members are recorded simultaneously, capturing the authentic dynamics of a live performance. Over the course of just three intense days, we successfully recorded 13 different bands, allotting each group only an hour and a half to deliver their best performance and play cohesively.
