Getting to work with tijger Tijger on their newest songs has been a dream come true for an engineer and producer. Great group of lads with great ideas and fantastic chemistry in both their personalities and in their instruments.
Working with these guys on capturing the raw, unrelenting groove and energy from their songs was a treat for me and to hear them live in the room - which is exactly how we captured them instrumentally.

MOLTON GROVE
GOULASH
Goulash is one of Molton Grove’s first songs that they ever wrote together.
Being one of the earliest and most RAW tracks, it stands as an origin of the band’s sound, but also an introduction of what is to come for Molton Grove.
This song was amazing to produce and mix to help the band capture the wall of sound it deserved to be!

IMPULSES
Impulses stands out as one of the slower, and more indulgent to ambience songs in Molton Grove’s catalogue and it was an honour to capture the smooth, and delicate contrast between each moment in the song.
With stripped back verses, huge choruses, and an amazingly chilling outro, this song has a great dynamic flow and was a pleasure to work on.

The grove
The grove EP was the first project working with Molton Grove, and stands as the band’s first official release. Taking recording done by different engineers and constructing a new sound with the band was the first step in refining their vision and getting their songs together to share with their growing audience.
This EP was a unique experience of taking already committed stems and recordings and moulding them to the band’s full vision for the project.
After this project I have continued to work with Molton Grove to record, produce and mix their newest songs in Wisseloord Studios.

It all begins with an idea. For the Ratbags, the first idea came together as SEDATED.
Being our first single, this song was about finding out voice and tone that we would use as our foundation.

THE Cruz & The Dukes of Harlem
Stuck In Here
Working with The Cruz and the Dukes of Harlem, we recorded their first single in Wisseloord studios.
As their first single, we spent a lot of time dialings in the sound and organic recordings that we captured to ensure that the song didn’t sound too processed and kept it’s vintage edge.
The energy in the room can be felt in the song, as the Cruz takes his place ready to delivers a performance no one will forget, backed by his mighty Dukes they are ready to play their hearts out.
Utilising vintage equipment, we created a instant throwback vibe to the band’s first single.
All recording, mixing, and mastering was done to analogue to give the song that retro, classic feel.
